Football/Netball 2014

The Wandin Football Netball Club would like to announce the following coaching appointments for Season 2014. Firstly the club would like to not only announce but welcome back to the club to coach the Netball for 2014 – Kate Upton. Kate is recognised through the league as one of the best netball coaches going around and the club is very excited to have her back at the club. Kate has produced some wonderful results at club level over the past few seasons with Mt Evelyn but has also delivered at inter league level as well so our girls will definatly benefit from having Kate as coach next year and beyond. Welcome to the club Kate, Brian and family.

The club would also like to announce that Jarrod Bayliss will continue as Senior coach for Season 2014. Jarrod has helped take the club back into the finals the last 2 seasons and is looking to further build on the results achieved by the club in this time.

The Reserves will once again be coached by Bob Foletta with the Under 18 appointment yet to be finalised.

For all footballers, netballers, sponsors, supporters and interested players for all sides, the club is having a meet and greet night at the Lilydale Bowls Club. The night kicks off at 6.00pm on the 20th November where all details of pre season training will be addressed. It will be a great oppurtunity to meet the new coaches at the club for Season 2014. A BBQ ($5.00) will be available while soft drinks will be provided. Bare Foot Bowls is also on the cards so if you think your able to roll with the best of them, make sure you get there and support the club.
